INDIA

LAURA ILGER AND DAVID OLAGUE

David and Laura are missionaries to an orphanage in Northern India where they teaches english, math, science, art, music, and the Bible and supports the local staff.  The orphanage, Asha House, means “hope” in Hindi and these beautiful children do learn of the hope they have in Jesus Christ from their loving staff and through missionaries like Laura.  Many of the children living in Asha House were rescued from brothels and now live in a loving environment where they are fed, clothed, and educated.

Laura now works full-time at Back to the Roots, a non-profit that works to abolish sex trafficking around the world.  If you would like to sponser Laura as a full-time staff member of Back to the Roots, visit www.backtotheroots.org and enter her name under staff member support.

If  you would like to sponser a child at Asha House or another rescue center, visit www.backtotheroots.org

MALAWI

PAUL AND RACHEL ILGER

MALAWI

Paul and Rachel Ilger traveled to Malawi Africa in July 2010 and July 2011 with a missionary team called “Water Wells for Africa”.  The team digs and builds wells in impoverished villages and provides clean drinking water, medical aid, Bibles, and support to local churches. WWFA has installed over 100 wells which provides water for 200 villages and each well gives water to over 2,000 people daily.

Paul and Rachel were responsible for giving a conference for pastors in Malawi this year.  These pastors were given a Bible (many have never owned one), a tie, and a greater understanding on how to teach their villages the Word of God.  36 pastors and their wives attended the conference from 36 villages across the country of Malawi.  14 of these couples had never been married were married during the course of the conference. For more information on how you can support the efforts of Water Wells for Africa, visit their website at www.waterwellsforafrica.org
