Sarah launched an album "Come Deeper" with Ben Bigler and Nate Howell
Hope Chapel men renovated the home of one of Winnetka’s finest servants, Marilyn Robinson.
We stood up against gang violence in the Winnetka Peace Walk.
50 neighborhood children learned that God was wild about them.
Our Hope Chapel Family grew organically with Babies Ava and Luke.
We participated in the Run/Walk for Life raising funds for the San Fernando Valley Pregnancy Resource Center
We participated in the largest Harvest Los Angeles has ever seen.
Dylan, Jansen and Josh graduated High School and headed off to the Bethel School of Ministry
We reached over 400 people with God’s love this Christmas through Project Hope.
Thank God for his faithfulness to bring so many unexpected blessings in 2011.

Birthdays…There’s just something about the day you were born. Text messages, emails and phone calls from well- wishing friends and family. Gifts you’ve longed for all year long but forgot that you wanted. Cards with artistic ways of expressing words of love. And let’s not forget CAKE!The pause for reflection on where your life journey has taken you, combined with the Dr. Seuss thoughts of “OH the Places You’ll Go!”, overlaid with the fantastic fantasy of being able to do whatever you want for an entire 24 hour period of time…pure bliss. I did say fantasy.In reality, your day starts with a 4am wake up call to your child having wet the bed followed later by a phone call from your brother who needs you to drive him around to find an apartment. Since you love your son and don’t want your brother to be homeless you give up your fantasy of being able to do whatever you want and instead you do what Jesus said, lose your life that you may find it. Take up your cross and follow Me”. And that is what abundant life is all about anyway.
